Welcome to Allegro Learning
We love music and we know that through music people enter in a process of self-awareness and growth. Age is not a limitation here, we can teach children and adults, but must advise you, learning music is extremely addictive and may unleash a creative mind you didn’t know you had.
Musical training physically develops the part of the left side of the brain known to be involved with processing language, and can actually wire the brain’s circuits in specific ways. Linking familiar songs to new information can also help imprint information on young minds.
Music provides children with a means of self-expression. Everyone needs to be in touch at some time in his life with his core, with what he is and what he feels. Self-esteem is a by-product of this self-expression.
Music study enhances teamwork skills and discipline. In order for an orchestra to sound good, all players must work together harmoniously towards a single goal, the performance, and must commit to learning music, attending rehearsals, and practicing.
“Mrs. DoCarmo is an excellent teacher. My son is an active 9-year-old, She has been great with him. She has a big bag of tricks for keeping kids motivated and focused. She also was quick to recognize my child’s desire to create his own music and was extremely encouraging. She supports and focus on what music style you or child prefers. Highly recommended!!!”
– Michell Bass, Father
“Ms. DoCarmo is talented, persistent, yet patient with the children. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in piano lessons for their children. I have 2 sons, 16 and 9 years of age. My oldest has been taking piano lessons for many years, while the younger eagerly joined in some time ago. I am the lucky recipient of Ms. DoCarmo’s hard work!”
